Meet the Team

Blyth Deans joined TLP in February 1990, having previously worked in the Private Sector. Initially recruited as the Training Employment Grant Scheme (TEGS) manager, then moving on to Director of Enterprise Development, before being appointed as Chief Executive in 2003. The role includes reporting to the non executive Board of Directors, who provide strategic guidance to the organisation and ensuring the ongoing viability of the company, through a range of business development activities.

Blyth has achieved considerable success in widening the organisations funding base through securing contracts in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire, over the years, and continues to position the organisation as a successful welfare to work provider in Scotland.
