East Renfrewshire – Employability Awards - Nov 2017
As part of the Glasgow City Region City Deal, Working Matters has been designed to assist people to develop a strategy and the relevant skills to secure sustained employment and to become resilient within the labour market
The East Renfrewshire Employability Awards, organised by the Council's Work EastRen employability service, highlight the successes of those who have excelled in furthering their career and training prospects in the last 12 months.
The Lennox Partnership deliver this provision on behalf of East Renfrewshire Council and one of their Working Matters clients, Anne Marie Miller received a Special Recognition Award on the night.

Having been unemployed for a period of time, Anne Marie was supported through the Working Matters programme to get back into the workplace. She launched her own business as a self-employed counsellor at the start of the year and received financial support from Working Matters for her initial 12 hours counselling supervision, business insurance and a contribution towards the cost of a laptop.
